The Artistic Workshop
On 16th and 17th December 2008 the students from the first classes of Secondary School No.2 in Krosno carried out the project ”Europe: a treasure to be discovered, shared and valued” by taking part in the artistic workshop. The leading subject of the workshop was “Christmas and Christmas Tree decorations – getting to know Europe through the sense of touch”.

The workshop was run by Izabela Togan, Sylwia Stadnicka, Gabriela Jakieła , Paulina Lubomiejska and Anna Smarzowska.
The students from individual classes were making various artistic works, e.q. long colourful Christmas Tree chains, interesting balls, decorations from colour paper and paper tissue, dried fruits, cones, nuts and different figures, especially angels, from salt mass. The students also made wooden Christ-child’s crib.
The final of the whole action was on 18th December 2008, when the students together with the idea givers and the organisers of the workshop made beautiful Christmas table decorations from fir boughs and decorated the school Christmas Tree with the decorations which they made themselves. The whole enterprise was supervised by the teacher of Cultural Intelligence, Mrs Małgorzata Twardzik – Wilk. The organisers of the workshop were helped by the teachers : Mrs Edyta Janusz, Mrs Elzbieta Longosz and Mrs Irena Kolanko.
