In the town of Caltanissetta there are many areas, one of the oldest is San Rocco area. Whithin this area, (in Consultore Benintende Street) there is a fruit , also called “Strata Foglia Market”.Read more on comment.......

It is a crowded market where you can buys: fish, meat and fruit; the borders of this market are : Piazza Grande, Sant’Antonio fountain , the Convent of Grace, Saint’Agata church, Saint Lucia church (one of the oldest churches) and Corso Vittorio Emanuele where it is possible to find the oldest buildings of the town, clothes and shoes shops as well as bars.
